Shakib Al Hasan’s daughter faces cyber obscene

Dhaka Metropolitan Police has identified some of the Facebook accounts which posted obscene comments on a picture of national cricketer Shakib Al Hasan’s daughter and they are now tracing the users of those accounts as well, reports Cricfrenzy.

DMP cybercrime unit’s deputy commissioner AFM Al Kibria was quoted in New Age that they were monitoring the cyber-bullying incident and were tracking down the users of all the accounts who made those derogatory remarks.

The picture of Shakib’s eldest daughter, Alaina Hasan, was posted on Facebook by her parents where the little girl was seen standing on a field of sunflowers and smiling. And a number of Facebook users then posted offensive and sickening comments below the picture.

Shakib and his wife Umme Ahmed Shishir have since then removed the picture from their Facebook pages as well.

Many Facebook users have expressed their outrage and drawn the attention of the police to take action against those commenters, with many of them even identifying the users also.

Kibria said that the police were to receive any formal complaint yet.
