A woman has allegedly been violated by her neighbour in Taltli upazila of Barguna.

A mother of a child, the 20-year-old victim alleged that her neighbour Shahin Talukder,25, has been giving her indecent proposal since her divorce two months back.

The victim has been staying with her parents at Simitala village after the divorce.

As she turned down the proposal, Shahin entered her room on Monday night and violated the woman.

Hearings her screams, neighbours rushed in and caught shahin. But, later, he managed to flee.
   
Taltali police OC M Qamruzzaman said legal action would e taken once they get complain in this regard.
