A 20-year-old boy was killed as a truck hit a motorcycle at Ramgati upazila in Laxmipur district on Saturday afternoon.

Deceased Md Dalim Uddin, 20, was the son of Humayun Majhi, a resident of Subarnachar upazila in Noakhali district.

Ramgati Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Mohammad Solaiman said a truck rammed into his motorcycle on the Ramgati-Sonapur road in the afternoon, leaving him dead on the spot.
