9 fined in Pekua for not wearing mask A mobile court on Thursday fined nine people in Pekua upazila of Cox’s Bazar district for not wearing face masks. The mobile court, led by UNO and executive magistrate Motasem Billah, conducted a drive in Kabir Ahmed Chowdhury Bazar around 5pm. It realised Tk 2,300 as fine from nine persons. Two vehicles wre also fined Tk 1,500 under Motor Vehicle Ordinance 2018. The UNO said it is a regular drive during the coronavirus pandemic.
