Attorney General Mahbubey Alam dies in Corona

Attorney General Mahbubey Alam died of corona. He died at the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka on Sunday (September 26th) evening.

Sumon Mahbub, son of Attorney General Mahbubey Alam, said in a status on his Facebook, “My father, Attorney General Mahbubey Alam, died at 7.25 pm.”

Earlier, Attorney General Mahbubey Alam’s son-in-law, Supreme Court lawyer Sheikh Mohammad. Reazul Haque said he was kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) with ventilation support.

On the night of September 3, the Attorney General felt fever. When Corona was tested on the morning of September 4, the report came back positive. While undergoing treatment, Mahbubey Alam’s condition deteriorated on September 18 and he was taken to the ICU.
