State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud catches Covid-19

Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, State Minister for Shipping, has caught COVID-19.

Jahangir Alam Khan, Public Relations Officer of Shipping Ministry, confirmed this information to media, on Wednesday morning.

He is doing well and taking treatment at his residence in the capital, he said.
Khalid Mahmud was tested positive for the virus on Tuesday, Jahangir said.

The minister requested the countrymen to pray for his quick recovery from the disease, he added.
