President mourns death of prominent actor Abdul Kader
DHAKA, Dec 26, 2020 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of renowned and popular actor Abdul Kader.
In a condolence message, the head of the state prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Abdul Kader, who was diagnosed with stage IV cancer and subsequently tested positive for COVID-19 (Coronavirus) since December 21, breathed his last in capital’s Evercare Hospital at 8:20 am today.
Well-known to all for his popular comedy characters in plays on Television (TV), actor Kader was 69.
He left behind a son, a daughter, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
