Nur Hossain jailed for life term in arms case Nur Hossain, a death row convict in Narayanganj seven-murder case, has been given life term imprisonment in an arms case. The court at the same time acquitted him from an extortion case. Narayanganj Additional District and Sessions Judge Sabina Yasmin pronounced the verdict on Wednesday. Additional Public Prosecutor Jasmin Akter said Nur was sentenced for life time after taking deposition of six persons in a case filed by police for recovering his arms from a rail line beside Siddhirganj Police Station in Narayanganj. And he was acquitted from an extortion case filed by Akram for demanding Tk 4 lakh from him. TF |
