College teacher killed as trolley hits bike in Patuakhali A college teacher was killed as a trolley hit his motorcycle in Bauphal upazila of Patuakhali district on Saturday morning.
Deceased Soyed Sarwar was the English lecturer of Kanakdia Sir Salimullah School and College.
Locals said the trolley loaded with bricks coming from opposite direction hit the motorbike in front of Sub Registry Office around 8:45 am, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to Bauphal Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Bauphal Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Mostafizur Rahman said police are trying to seized the trolley.
