205 pending cases disposed within 21 working days in Habiganj



Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal in Habiganj has disposed 205 pending cases within 21 working days, which is a milestone in Bangladesh’s jurisdiction.  

Deposition of 281 persons have been taken to dispose the 205 cases within November 1-30 this year.

Habiganj Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-1 Judge Sudipta Das settled all the cases during this period.  

Of the cases, one was of 2002, one of 2003, one of 2007, one of 2009, four were of 2010, six of 2011, eight of 2012, two of 2013, two of 2014, nine of 2015 and one was of 2016.

The tribunal PP Adv Abul Hasim Mollah Masum said, “A total of 2640 cases were pending in this tribunal. Judge Sudipta Das disposed the 205 cases within one month by his frantic efforts.”
