With two more deaths from COVID-19 in Rajshahi division on Sunday, the death toll reached 333 here.

A total of 22,164 people have, so far, been infected with the deadly virus in the division, with reporting 46 fresh cases on Sunday.

Dr Gopendra Nath Acharya, Divisional Director of Health confirmed the matter in a COVID-19 quarantine and isolation related daily report in Rajshahi division on Monday afternoon.

Among the total deceased, the highest number of 202 virus patients died in Bogura while Rajshahi reported 50 virus deaths.

Apart from this, 14 died in Chapainawabganj, 24 in Naogaon, 12 in Natore, seven in Joypurhat, 14 in Sirajganj and 10 in Pabna districts respectively.

Of the total infected patients, 20,447 people made recovery from the deadly disease in the division till Monday morning and 2,584 are undergoing treatment at a different designated hospital in the division.
