Kheyal Utsab to recall Azad Rahman | The Asian Age Online, Bangladesh

“Ispahani Mirzapore Bangla Kheyal Utsab 2021” is going to be commenced for the eight time paying tribute to legendary singer Azad Rahman. Azad Rahman pioneered Kheyal Utsab in Bangladesh for the first time which was transmitted by Channel I. Azad Rahman died in 2020.Bangla Kheyal Utsab 2021 is beginning from Sunday at 5:20 pm. It will go on till 1 February morning 9 am.

This information was conveyed on Saturday afternoon at a press conference at Channel I office in the capital’s Tejgaon. Channel I Director Shaikh Siraj, singer Karim Shahbuddin, Dr. Asit Roy, late Azad Rahman’s wife Selina Azad, Professor Dr. Nashid Kamal and Anil Kumar Saha spoke at the press conference. Channel I will telecast the Kheyal Utsab live.
