UIU opens int’l conference on ETCCE
The two-day long international conference on Emerging Technology in Computing, Communication and Electronics, was inaugurated virtually on Monday.
The conference is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Bangladesh Section, and is jointly organized by the Department of CSE of United International University (UIU), Bangladesh and Faculty of Computing, University Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Malaysia.
Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni was present as the chief guest in the inauguration ceremony while Prof. Md. Sazzad Hossain, member of University Grants Commission (UGC), Hasan Mahmood Raja, chairman, Board of Trustees, UIU, Prof. HM Jahirul Haque, vice chancellor, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, Prof. Kamal Zuhairi Zamli, deputy vice chancellor, UMP, and Prof. Celia Shahnaz, Chair IEEE Bangladesh Section were present as the special guests.
The inauguration ceremony was chaired by Prof. Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman, vice-chancellor of UIU while Dr. Md Arafatur Rahman, general chair of ETCCE, gave the welcome speech.
Prof. Dr. Salekul Islam, head of Dept. of CSE, UIU is another general chair in this conference. At the end of this ceremony vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman. The program was anchored by Prof. A.K.M. Muzahidul Islam.
