The Islamic University Day will be celebrated on the campus in Kushtia tomorrow on the occasion of the university’s 42nd founding anniversary.

The university authorities have chalked out elaborate programmes, including flag hoisting, releasing pigeons and ballons, tree plantation, cake cutting and online discussion, to mark the day.

The university vice chancellor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam will hoist national flag while pro-vice chancellor Professor M Shahinoor Rahman will hoist university flag at administrative building in the morning.

A discussion will be held online in the evening where University Grants’ Commission chairman Professor Kazi Shahidullah will join as the chief guest.
