Entry test in 19 varsities to be held under cluster system – Education – observerbd.com
Nineteen general, and science and technology universities will hold admission tests for 2020-2021 academic year under cluster system. The admission tests will be held in these universities in presence of the students. Question papers will be made in three subjects – humanities, business and science– based on the syllabus of higher secondary. The decision was taken at a meeting between the University Grants Commission (UGC) and vice-chancellors of the universities on Tuesday. Earlier on February 26, a decision was taken in principle to hold admission tests in three separate clusters in public universities. Those universities will hold exams under cluster system are Islamic University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Khulna University, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University, Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Noakhali Science and Technology University, Jagannath University, Cumilla University, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University, Jashore Science and Technology University, Begum Rokeya University, Pabna Science and Technology University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science & Technology University, Barishal University, Rangamati Science & Technology University, Rabindra University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University, Sheikh Hasina University and Bangamata Sheikh Fojilatunnesa Mujib Science & Technology University.
