Stones worth Tk 3.6cr imported thru’ Hili
A total of 62,638 metric tons of stones were imported through Hili land port in Dinajpur district in 21 days of October.
The government has got Tk 3,08,93,000 of revenue from this, said Hili revenue officer Saiful Islam.
Boulder stones were bought at 14 US dollar and chip stones at 13 US dollar, said Hili C&F Agent Sherekul Munshi, adding that the import of stones from India through this port recently has increased.
