‘Mujib Barsho’ Taekwondo begins today

‘Mujib Barsho’ Trust Bank 18th Senior/Junior Taekwondo Competition Begins from Sunday at National Sports Council Gymnasium, said a Bangladesh Taekwondo Federation (BTF) press release, reports BSS.

Major General Mohammad Enayet Ullah, the current adjutant general of Bangladesh Army, is expected to inaugurate the four-day meet as the chief guest.

A total of 600 taekwondo participants including 400 of men’s and 200 of women’s participants from eighteen district sports associations along with Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Police, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation, Bangladesh Krirsa Shikkha Prothistan, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Party are going to taking part in the four-day meet.

Organised by BTF and sponsored by Trust Bank, the competition will be held to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

State Minister for Youth and Sports Mohammad Zahid Ahsan Russell MP is expected to present in the closing ceremony of the competition as the chief guest and distribute the prizes.
