President mourns death of ICT probe wing chief coordinator Hannan Khan

DHAKA, Nov 29, 2020 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of valiant freedom fighter and chief coordinator of the investigation wing of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Mohammad Abdul Hannan Khan.

In a message of condolence, the President recalled with due respect the significant role Hannan Khan performed with utmost dedication and efficiency as the chief coordinator of the investigation wing in various historic cases of the country.

He said: “Khan played an important role in the proceedings of different historic cases — specially Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman murder, jail killings and war criminals trial cases — by collecting and presenting necessary evidences and documents .”

The head of the state prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
