Plastic factory catches fire at Chawk Bazar A fire broke out at a plastic factory and several tin-shed houses at Chawkbazar area in Dhaka early Friday. Md Kamrul Hasan, duty officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defense control room, said the fire broke out around 4.00am and spread rapidly. On information, 15 firefighting units went to the spot and brought the fire under control at about 6.00am.
 Plastic factory catches fire at Chawk Bazar Locals said the fire originated first at a plastic factory at Noakhali building in the area and later, engulfed at least 50 tin-shed plastic factories. The cause of the fire could not be known immediately. Fire Service will form a committee to investigate the fire incident. |
