A Dhaka court has placed Mind Aid Hospital director Fatematuz Zohra Moyna on a four-day remand in a case over the death of Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Anisul Karim Shipon.
Metropolitan Magistrate Baki Billah passed the order on Sunday.
Earlier, police produced her before the court seeking five days remand for her.
Fatematuz Zohra Moyna, was arrested from Dhaka on November 13.
On November 9, Anisul Karim Shipon , the assistant commissioner of Barishal Metropolitan Police’s traffic department, was taken to Mind Aid Hospital in city’s Adabor area around 11:45am for treatment. But, he died soon after admission in the hospital.
Later, a video of beating Anisul Karim Shipon in the Aggressive Management Room of Mind Aid Hospital has gone viral on social media.
The victim’s father Faizuddin Ahmed lodged a murder case with Adabor Police Station early Tuesday accusing some 15 people.
Meanwhile, a Dhaka court has remanded 10 employees for seven days in the case.
