Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Monday urged his party leaders and activists not no misuse power as it is not permanent.
Obaidul Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, came up with the call while inaugurating different development scheme in Companyganj upazila nd distributing grants among the families of disadvantage, tested and dead leaders and activists.
The minister joined the programme through viedoconferencing from his official residence.
Calling upon the party men to extend support to all poor and sick persons irrespective of party affiliations, Obaidul said,”Almost all election pledges have already been fulfilled in my constituency. Every household have been brought under electricity coverage, gas supply will begin soon.”
Criticising BNP for its involvement in ‘arson violence’, Obaidul Quader said,”BNP was again out to resort arson attacks to take revenge of its polls defeat. BNP said it does not believe in arson violence. But, burning people to death through gun power is continuation of BNP’s evil politics.”
