Commerce Ministry requests trade bodies to ensure use of mask

DHAKA, Nov 9, 2020 (BSS) – The Ministry of Commerce has requested the
countrywide all trade bodies and associations to ensure wearing of masks by
their members, officials and employees in a bid to check the spread of the
2nd wave of COVID-19.

According to a press release, the Ministry of Commerce has requested the
countrywide trade bodies, their subordinate associations, district and
upazila chambers, joint chamber of commerce and industries, associations,
foundations, various groups and forums to take necessary steps to ensure that
their members, officials and employees wear masks.

The Ministry of Commerce gave such a directive from November 1, 2020.

The press release said the Health Services Division has already issued
an order over the mandatory use of masks to check the spread of the 2nd wave
of the COVID-19. Besides, the Cabinet Division has also issued an order in
this regard.
