‘Bangabandhu Purno-Pothon Kendro’ starts reading cycle

DHAKA, Jan 13, 2021 (BSS) – ‘Bangabandhu Purno-Pothon Kendro’ has started a reading cycle on the handwritten books of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The reading-cycle related activities will be held once a week on the occasion of ‘Mujib Year’ and gradually will be held to every college and university across the country.

Awami League (AL) Science and Technology Affairs Secretary Engineer Md Abdus Sabur inaugurated the programme at the Council Hall of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) here today.

With ‘Bangabandhu Purno-Pothon Kendro’ researcher and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Assistant Professor Md Saiful Islam in the chair, the event was attended, among others, by IEB President Engineer Md Nurul Huda and its Vice-President Engineer Md Nuruzzaman.

‘Bangabandhu Purno-Pothon Kendro’ Organizer and IEB Honorary General Secretary Sheikh Tajul Islam Tuhin conducted the programme.

Earlier, a quiz competition was held on the handwritten books of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The winners of the quiz were given books written on Bangabandhu.
