Grief-stricken 2 sisters die hours after mother’s death Failing to endure the shock of their mother’s death, two sisters have also met the tragic end within few hours in Boda upazila of Panchagarh district.
Local sources said Panchami Bewa died at the age of 90 at her house in Khalifapur area on Tuesday morning. Hearing the death news, her six daughters came to see the body of their mother for the last time. Panchami’s grief-stricken eldest daughter Sarajini Bala and youngest Chaity Rani fell unconscious in the evening. They died on way to hospital. Jakaria Habib, member of ward 5 of Chandanbari union confirmed the matter. Sadar Hospital RMO Rakibul Alam said the siblings were brought dead in the hospital. Relatives said the siblings had been suffering from heart ailments. They might have died due to cardiac arrest. SIS/LY |
