7-foot-long python rescued in Sirajganj A seven-foot-long python has been rescued from Patharghata upazila in Barguna district. Local people spotted the python at ward No.7 area under Patharghata municipality on Tuesday afternoon and informed a snake charmer. Later, the snake charmer rescued the snake and handed over to the forest department. However, the snake was released in Haringhata Forest, the upazila social forestry officer Monirul Haque confirmed.
