36 held in Rajshahi in 24 hrs Police in separate drives detained 36 people from different places of Rajshahi district in last 24 hours on different charges. Mohammad Golam Ruhul Quddus, additional deputy police commissioner of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, confirmed the matter on Tuesday in a press release. Of the detainees, 17 had arrest warrant against them, four were held with drugs and the rest 16 were detained on different charges. The law enforcers also recovered verities of drugs, including hemp, heroine, Tapentadol and Yaba tablets, during the drives. RHF/ALM |
