3.22 lakh Yaba seized in Cox’s Bazar Members of Coast Guard Bangladesh, in a drive, seized 3.22 lakh Yaba tablets and a boat from the Naf River at Teknaf upazila in Cox’s Bazar district early Wednesday. On a tip-off, a patrol team of Coast Guard raided in the Naf River in Katabunia area under Sabrang union. Sensing their presence, the smugglers fled away, leaving behind a boat. Later, the Coast Guard members recovered the Yaba from the boat, said media officer of Coast Guard Lieutenant Commander M Hamidul Islam. MR/MUS |
