Man dies as bus hits bicycle in pabna A man dies as a bus hit a bicycle at Ishwardi upazila in Pabna district on Sunday afternoon. Deceased Mujibur Pramanik, 60, was a resident of Charmirkamari Gangmathal village in the upazila. Witnesses said a Pabna-bound passenger bus hit Mujibur’s bicycle near Bangladesh Sugarcrop Research Institute (BSRI) on the Ishwardi-Pabna regional road around 2pm, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to local Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared Mujibur dead. Ishwardi Police Station officer in-charge (OC) Sheikh Md Nasir Uddin said filing of a case is underway in this connection. |
